McLean County Coroner releases name of Friday morning fatal crash

NORMAL – One person died after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning on Rivian Motorway at Electric Drive in Normal.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder reports the driver, Donald Adeyi, 36, of Powder Springs, Georgia, was ejected from the car around 6:45 a.m.

Adeyi was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Preliminary autopsy results show Adeyi died from multiple blunt injuries due to the crash.

Toxicology results are pending.

The incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
