NORMAL – Connect Transit will be hosting several community engagement sessions to discuss the proposal to merge the current Lime Express route with a new route that will serve west Bloomington-Normal.
The proposed new route will provide service between Uptown Station and Downtown Bloomington, and will serve Rivian, OSF, Walmart and several businesses along the College Avenue, Rivian Motorway, and Market Street route.
“This engagement session is to allow people to offer their ideas on how to make that route better,” Connect Transit General Manager David Braun told WJBC. “Talk about the schedules and just learn about the service that we’ll be providing that area.”
