One dead after Wednesday night accident in Tazewell County

TAZEWELL COUNTY – A person is dead after a crash versus a combine accident on Queenwood road late Wednesday night.

According to our news partner, HOI ABC, witnesses said they could see flames and smell smoke in the air.

Additionally, witnesses say they saw police searching a field nearby.

Authorities are not releasing the name of the person involved out of respect to the family.

More information will be released Friday.
