BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Wednesday reported 43 new cases of coronavirus.
The number of active cases dropped slightly to 417 as there are 30 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID.
The county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 4.5%. 52 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.
COVID-19 Vaccine
Around 124,858 doses have been administered with 32% of McLean County’s population fully vaccinated.
Vaccinations have been declining over the last two weeks. According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, McLean County was averaging around 1,700 shots a day back on April 21. As of May 4, the county’s seven-day average is 863 doses.
