MCHD reports 164 new cases of coronavirus

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County added 164 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend.

There are 606 active cases with 45 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID, according to the health department. McLean County hospitals are reporting 81% of ICU beds and 96% of total beds in use.

McLean County’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 5.3%. 148 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.

There have been 210 COVID-related deaths in the county.

COVID-19 Vaccine

Approximately 92,719 doses have been administered in McLean County. Just over 21% of the county’s population has been fully vaccinated.
