Outdoor dining begins in Uptown Normal

NORMAL – With the weather getting warmer this weekend, the Town of Normal has resumed outdoor dining throughout the Uptown business district.

Residents and visitors enjoyed dining outdoors in Uptown Normal last year, an amenity provided for the first time at some businesses as a result of the pandemic, according to a news release. The town recognized the impact of outdoor dining and worked to provide seating options throughout the Uptown Normal business district. Parks and Rec will be setting up tables along E. Beaufort St., North St. and around Uptown Circle.

More than 18 Uptown Normal dining establishments can take advantage of outdoor seating options beginning April 1. Businesses outside of the Uptown Normal business district are also encouraged to continue offering outdoor dining options.
