BLOOMINGTON – A 37th McLean County resident has died from COVID-19 complications.
McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight said the patient was a woman in her 90s associated with a long-term care facility. There have been four COVID-related deaths this week, all associated with long-term care facilities.
The health department Thursday announced 19 new cases of coronavirus as the county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 5.3%.
There are nine people currently hospitalized and 352 are in home isolation. 61 additional people were released from isolation, now 3,872 have recovered.
