35 new COVID cases in McLean County; Positivity rate inches up

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Friday reported 35 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 3,782.

There are 11 people currently hospitalized and 282 are isolating at home. MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight says there have been 276 new COVID cases over the last seven days. An age breakdown of cases:

  • Under 1: 2
  • 1-17: 27
  • 18-19: 11
  • 20s: 99
  • 30s: 33
  • 40s: 29
  • 50s: 29
  • 60s: 22
  • 70s: 9
  • 80s: 9
  • 90s: 6

The county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 4.4%. 35 additional people were released from isolation, now 3,459 have recovered. There have been 30 COVID-related deaths.
