SPRINGFIELD – Senate Minority Leader Bill Brady (R-Bloomington), urging the legislature and governor to stay in Springfield, wants more from both – particularly Gov. Pritzker.
Senate Minority Leader Bill Brady says there’s too much unfinished business. “We should not go home,” Brady said, “until we come up with a bipartisan plan that the legislature and governor work on to re-engage this state.”
Lawmakers enter their third day of session under coronavirus restrictions, and Brady said the first two days prove that it can be done effectively and safely.
Brady praises Gov. JB Pritzker for his work but adds, he listens to you and then does what he wants anyway.
