PONTIAC – A woman walking on the road was struck by a car and died Thursday morning in Livingston County.

Illinois State Police said around 4:30 a.m. Kenisha Hall, 25, of Berwyn was walking in the northbound lane of Illinois Route 23 at Livingston County Road 2100 N when a vehicle hit her. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson.

ISP said the driver, Kelli Folk, 37, of Forrest was not ticketed.
