BLOOMINGTON – Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting incident on Sunday night.
Darryl Brown, 51, was booked on preliminary charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault.
Bloomington police were called to a domestic disturbance on Downing Circle on the city’s southeast side shortly before 10 p.m. Police say an unknown number of shots were fired and no one was injured.
Police said Brown, who knew the victim, forced his way into the residence. The victim and three small children locked themselves in a bedroom. Brown allegedly fired several shots into the bedroom and tried to break the door down until officers arrived on scene.
