WJBC’s St. Jude Radio Runners team is once again gearing up for the 56-mile trek from Bloomington to Peoria this summer.

Join our crew for its annual fundraiser, a dinner auction on April 23 at 6 p.m. at the VFW Post 454 in Bloomington.

Tickets cost $20 and $30 per couple with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis and its Midwest affiliate in Peoria.

WJBC and WBNQ’s Susan Saunders will serve as Master of Ceremonies and auctioneer.

Music will be provided by Davenport and Dish.

There will be dozens of live and silent auction items, including Major League Baseball tickets, restaurant gift certificates, overnight stays and gym memberships. The grand prize will be a big screen TV. There will also be a 50/50 drawing. A cash bar will be available.

Ticket information is available at calling (309) 533-3392 or emailing [email protected]. Tickets will be for sale at the door.

The annual St. Jude Run is scheduled for July 30.

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
