ISU women’s hoops; softball vs. No. 1 on WJBC

Fresh off a senior day victory over Evansville, the Illinois State women’s basketball team will look to hold onto the No. 7 spot in the Missouri Valley Conference standing with a strong finish in its final two games of the regular season at Wichita State and Missouri State this weekend.

The two-game road swing begins tonight at 7 p.m. at Wichita State. Zach Dietmeier and Taylor Morano have the call on WJBC 1230 AM, WJBC.com and the WJBC app.

Austin Duncan will host Sportstalk at 6.

For the first time in program history, Illinois State softball is taking an extended road trip during spring break. The Redbirds will play 12 games over the course of 11 days, and the trip begins tonight at the UF Aquafina Invitational at Florida in Gainesville, Florida. The Redbirds play the host the No. 1-ranked Florida Gators. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. on WJBC.com.
