NORMAL – Three officers with the Normal Police Department have been honored with the department’s award for saving a life.
The department said early in the morning on July 19, officers Jonathan McCauley and Aaron Rowe responded to a call at 808 S, Linden about a male who was found unresponsive in a swimming pool.
The officers found the victim and performed CPR. The victim was taken to a local hospital where his condition was stabilized.
Chief Rick Bleichner said these officers exemplify the department’s core values.
