In a battle of Central Division leaders, the St. Louis Cardinals open a five-game homestand tonight as their in-state rivals come to Busch Stadium.

The Cardinals enjoy a six-game lead over the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Central, while the Royals are two games ahead of second place Minnesota in the American League Central.

Jamie Garcia is scheduled to pitch for the Cardinals, while Yordano Ventura gets the ball for the Royals.

Mike Shannon and John Rooney call the action starting at 7:05 p.m. on WJBC and the Cardinals Radio Network.

Tim Lewis will host Sportstalk starting at 6 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM and WJBC.com.

The Normal CornBelters travel to O’Fallon, Missouri to take on the River City Rascals. WJBC.com will have the action with Greg Halbleib at the mic starting at 6:20 p.m.
