BLOOMINGTON – The number of people looking for work in Bloomington-Normal is down compared to last year.
The Illinois Department of Employment Security said unemployment for April, 2015 is at 3.9 percent. That’s a one percent drop from the same time a year ago. This is the 14th month in a row that unemployment rates fell in every metro area in the state compared to a year ago.
Bloomington-Normal has the lowest unemployment rate in the state.
