SPRINGFIELD – Former Gov. Pat Quinn could see his six-figure pension go down if a law he signed is upheld by the Illinois Supreme Court.
WAND-TV reports pension legislation signed by Quinn in 2013 is set to go before the court next month. The law is designed to take a bite out of an $111 billion deficit in the state pension system.
Quinn has collected a pension worth $137,000 a year since current Gov. Bruce Rauner was sworn into office in January.
