NORMAL – Sales numbers continue to rise for Mitsubishi Motors. Spokesman Dan Irvin says sales rose 26 percent in Feb. 2015 from the same time last year.
"February was a big month," Irvin said. "It continues this very positive momentum that Mitsubishi has had, really, for the last 18 months."
February was the 12th-straight month of year-over-year sales increases at Mitsubishi. The Outlander Sport, which is produced in Normal, sold about two percent better in Feb. 2015 compared to Feb. 2014.
Irvin said O'Brien Mitsubishi of Normal cracked the top 10 in vehicle sales nationwide last month.
