WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.
Here are the winners for the week of Feb. 2, 2015:
Raven Hughes – U-High Girls Basketball
Raven led the Pioneers in scoring with 19 points in a win over Peoria Central and 17 in a victory over Pontiac. She added 12 points when U-High defeated Peoria Richwoods.
Jack Henderson – Bloomington Wrestling
Jack shared outstanding wrestler honors at the Big 12 Tournament with one pin, one technical fall and one major decision. He also led the Purple Raiders to an Intercity Tournament title.
