SPRINGFIELD – It’s time to talk about booster shots, especially for Illinoisans 65 and up.
State public health director Dr. Ngozi Ezike (pictured, right) joined Gov. JB Pritzker (pictured, left) in boosting the boosters Tuesday.
“People who are eligible for their booster dose – you don’t have to go to the same place where you got your initial doses, and check out vaccines.gov for available locations,” said Ezike. “You should bring your vaccine card with you, so they can update the card with your third dose. If you are not sure where your vaccine card is, you can always register with dph.illinois.gov/vaxverify, or check with a health care provider.”
