2023 Annual Winter Boot Drive with Country Financial Representative Melissa Isenburg

WJBC will once again be collecting new winter boots for children in need this winter season.

Now through Sunday, January 7th, we will be accepting new children’s boots for kids ages 5 to 16.

New boots can be dropped off at Country Financial Representative Melissa Isenburg’s office, located at 2203 Eastland Drive Suite #4 in Bloomington. Or at the radio station offices, located at 236 Greenwood Avenue in Bloomington.

Don’t let another child go to school this winter without a way to protect their feet and stay warm.

Our annual winter boot drive is brought to you by Country Financial Representative Melissa Isenburg and WJBC.

Illinois poet Vachel Lindsay…

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

Looking around our community, when we say employer, most will respond to State Farm, Country, or Illinois State University.   We too often forget those who are building our roads, serving our food, or our public employees. COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
