BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person who robbed a grocery store worker at knifepoint.
Police responded to an armed robbery at West Market Grocery, 301 W. Market St., at about 9:50 p.m. Saturday. Police say the male suspect entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from an employee. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area. No injuries were reported from the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately six feet tall, thin build, wearing a black sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, black gloves, and a black and grey stocking hat. The suspect had his face partially covered.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
