Street closures planned for railway maintenance in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – Due to Norfolk Southern Railway Maintenance, road closures and sidewalk closures will occur at the rail crossing on East Street between Oakland Avenue and Jackson Street on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Also, due to Norfolk Southern Railway Maintenance, road closures and sidewalk closures will occur at the rail crossing on Madison Street between Mill Street and Olive Street, Mason Street between Taylor and Olive, Olive Street between Low and Mason starting Tuesday and Wednesday.

In addition, through traffic on East Street is restricted between between Oakland Avenue and Jackson Street and through traffic on Madison Street is restricted between Mill Street and Olive Street and through traffic on Mason Street is restricted between Taylor Street and Olive Street and through traffic on Olive Street is restricted between Low Street and Mason Street.

Drivers should anticipate traffic delays and consider alternate routes.
