BPD seeking help in identifying Subway armed robbery suspects

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects who held up a Subway restaurant in the 2300 block of East Oakland Avenue on Thursday.

Both suspects are being described as black males wearing dark clothing.

The first suspect is described as having a heavy set and in his mid-20s to early 30s.

The second suspect has an average build with partial facial hair and glasses.

Police were called to the scene around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.  Nobody was hurt.

One of the two suspects displayed a knife and they made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and an employee’s cell phone.
