Police search for armed robbery suspect after weekend heist

The suspect in an armed robbery Sunday evening at the Rosati’s location on North Prospect Rd. is being sought by Bloomington Police.

In a release sent this morning Bloomington Police say the suspect entered the store and demanded money from an employee while wielding a knife.

The suspect then took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Described as a black male, approximately five foot eight inches tall, the suspect was wearing dark winter clothing, gloves, a mask, and glasses.

There were no injuries in the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
