BLOOMINGTON – Following a brief chase, a Bloomington man was arrested for allegedly making cocaine.
In a news release, the Bloomington Police Department said an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics ended in the arrest of Alexander Alexis, 47. After a brief foot chase near the intersection of Fairmont Drive and Arcadia Drive on the city’s east side, members of BPD’s Vice Unit and Street Crimes Unit placed Alexis into custody.
Alexis was taken to the McLean County Jail for manufacture and delivery of 1-15 grams of cocaine and multiple counts of manufacture and delivery of other amount of Narcotic Schedule III.
