BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said the man whose body was found near Constitution Trail in Normal on Wednesday appears to have drowned in Sugar Creek.
The victim was identified as Marcus Bivens, 33, of Bloomington. Bivens’ body was found near a bridge by the trail in the 300 block of South Veterans Parkway on Wednesday afternoon. The coroner said in a news release there’s no indication of assault, strangulation, infection, recent significant trauma or tumor.
Normal Police have said they believe Bivens likely died within the last three to four days.
