LINCOLN – A truck driver accused of reckless homicide in a Logan County crash last year is being brought back to Illinois to face charges.
Authorities have issued a warrant for Taven Webster, 25, of Reeds, Mo. He was arrested over the weekend in Berry County, Mo.
Webster is charged in a July 2016 crash near Atlanta when his semitrailer hit a northbound van and caused a chain-reaction crash in a construction zone on Interstate 55.
Two young girls in the van, Abby Roock, 2, and her sister, Maya, 4, were killed in the crash.
