BLOOMINGTON – Police are investigating a reported drive-by shooting outside a south Bloomington convenience store and later at a home.
Bloomington Police were called to Main Street Convenience, 1919 S. Main St., at 7:09 p.m. Thursday following a report of multiple shots fired. Police say there was evidence that a vehicle in the parking lot had been hit by several gunshots.
No injuries were reported.
Police have been interviewing witnesses and don’t have any information on a suspect or suspect vehicle.
Bloomington PD was called to a home at 805 W. Mulberry St. at 1:30 a.m. for a report of a gunshot that struck a house. Police say there was evidence that at least one gunshot struck the home, but no injuries were reported.
There’s no word of any connection between the two incidents.
