CLINTON – A Clinton man died after a single-vehicle crash in rural DeWitt County on Wednesday.
DeWitt County Coroner Randy Rice said Steven Dawson, 62, was killed when his car hit a tree while traveling south of Birkbeck Road about six miles east of Wapella.
The crash happened about 6 p.m. Rice said Dawson was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:45.
