Bloomington man arrested for pension fraud

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington police reported a Bloomington man has been arrested for forgery after an extensive investigation.

Wyatt Davis, 75, was arrested on a $25,000 Mclean County Warrant.

Police said from approximately December 2003 until January 2015, Davis cashed over $56,000 in pension checks made out to a fake spouse of a deceased person. The Department opened an investigation into the incident after being contacted by a relative of the deceased person.
