NORMAL – As part of Illinois State’s homecoming weekend, the athletics department will induct four Redbirds into its Percy Family Athletics Hall of Fame.
Baseball standout Jared Default, diver Krystal Featherston, softball pitcher Lori Vogel will be honored while Neal MacDonald, a longtime-member of the ISU stats crew will receive the Campbell “Stretch” Miller Award.
“When you are at that breakfast and you give them a chance to get in front of a microphone, the heartfelt comments that come from these folks, it is always amazing what they say,” ISU Athletics Director Larry Lyons said. “It’s just a very emotional time. It just makes you feel good about the hard work you put in and the hard work they put in.”
