Cardinals vs. Phillies in daytime finale, Sportstalk on WJBC

The St. Louis Cardinals will turn to a rookie pitcher as they wrap up the first leg of their 11-game homestand today.

Lefthander Tim Cooney will make his major league debut as the Cardinals close out a four-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies at Busch Stadium.

The Phillies will counter with righthander David Buchanan.

Mike Shannon and John Rooney will call the action starting at 12:35 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM and the Cardinals Radio Network.

Tim Lewis and Jim Ahart will host a full two-hour Sportstalk starting at 6 p.m. Listen live on WJBC.com.
