NPD arrest man for alleged sexual abuse of minor

NORMAL – Police in Normal have arrested a man from Bloomington for allegedly sexually abusing a minor.

Police said Glenn Brownfield, 64, allegedly had inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old minor at the Activity & Recreation Center on East Willow Street. The incident reportedly occurred on Aug. 31.

NPD are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Detective Kendra DeRosa at [email protected] or (309) 454-9624.

Brownfield is currently being held at the McLean County Jail. He is facing two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
