SPRING VALLEY – Illinois State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a Princeton area woman who went missing last week.
Police say Deborah Dewey, 62, of Ladd was last seen on August 22nd in Spring Valley. Police say her unlocked vehicle, a gray 2007 Buick LaCrosse, was found on Monday at a truck stop on Route 47 north of Interstate 80 near Morris. Dewey is a white female, 5-feet-5, 150 pounds with gray hair and glasses.
Multiple state agencies, including State Police Air Operations are joining sheriff’s police in Bureau and Kane counties in the investigation.
Anyone with information on Dewey’s whereabouts is encouraged to call State Police’s District 17 headquarters at (815) 224-1171.
