BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Thunder defenseman Jeremy Davies has been recognized by the league as a First-Team All USHL selection.
Davies becomes the first Thunder player selected to the All USHL team.
The Thunder blue liner was the top scoring defenseman in the USHL. With 49 points (13g, 36a) this season, Davies became the all-time scoring defenseman for the Thunder. Following up his first year with the team, Davies also leads the Thunder all-time with 69 points (16g, 53a).
Standing at 5-foot-11, Davies helped the Thunder to their best record of 36-18-4-1 and their first playoff berth in team history as one of four players to appear in every Thunder game this season.
Davies, 19, was named CCM Defenseman of the Week three times this season, more than any other player on the Thunder
Davies played in 11 games for the Waterloo Black Hawks before being brought over to the Twin Cities for 103 career games in the blue and green.
