Betty Harweger

Betty J. Harweger, 93, of Normal, passed away at 3:10 a.m. on May 8 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal.

Her graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Secor Cemetery in Secor with Pastor Jonathan Huehn officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Betty was born on June 30, 1933 in Panola, a daughter to Charles E. and Louise Deiner Barney.

Surviving are her sons, Bob (Kathy) Schlink of Hudson and Jeffrey L. (Bonnie F.) Schlink of Normal; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris.
