Daniel Eades
Daniel W. Eades, 42, of Bloomington, formerly of Monticello, passed away at 10:42 a.m. on March 22 at his residence.
His funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Bob Lane officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Additional visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington.
Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery in Monticello. Memorials may be made to his children’s education fund, c/o First State Bank, 201 W. Main St., Monticello, Ill. 61953. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Danny was born on Sep. 8, 1973 in Monticello, a son to Richard and Nettie Webb Eades. He married Tara Hamilton on July 2, 1994 in Monticello.
Surviving is his mother, Nettie Eades of Monticello; four children, Haley (Wade) Willoughby of Tuscola, Jessica Eades, Ramsey Eades and Kendall Eades, all of Monticello; siblings, Kathy (Darrell) Palmer of Tolono, Kenny (Jenny) Eades of Champaign, Kim (Russ Petrotte) Marshall of Monticello, Ricky Eades of Monticello and Denny (Angie) Eades of White Heath and several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Eades; an infant brother; maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Danny graduated from Monticello High School in 1991 and attended Parkland College. Later, he graduated from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg with a degree in Mortuary Science. He did his apprenticeship at Spengel Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland. He worked at Morgan Funeral Home in Savoy. Later, he worked as a embalmer and funeral director Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington for the last six years where he said “I take pride in serving the families who walk through our doors on a daily basis; it is an honor and a privilege not taken lightly”.
He was the Vice President of the McLean County Funeral Directors Association and a member of the Young Men’s Club.
Danny loved spending time with his children and family. He enjoyed fishing, camping and family cook-outs. He was a loving father, son and friend who will be deeply missed.
