NORMAL – Illinois State freshman forward Roland Griffin is suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, as announced by ISU men’s basketball head coach Dan Muller.
“Roland knows our program standards and what is expected of him,” Muller said. “I am disappointed he has chosen not to uphold those standards. I am confident he will learn from his mistakes and grow from this.”
An Aurora native, Griffin has appeared in 16 of Illinois State’s 25 games, averaging 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds. He has missed the last six games with a toe injury.
