Frontier ends flights to Denver from CIRA

BLOOMINGTON – Frontier will no longer offer service to Denver at the Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington. 

Airport Spokeswoman Fran Streibing tells WJBC's Dan Swaney she is sad to see the service go.

"Certainly we are not happy, we are not celebrating," said Streibing. "We're glad that they will still be here to do Orlando International through April 27th. We'll continue to support that along with the Allegiant service to Orlando.  Unfortunately no more Orlando on Frontier at this point."

After April, Frontier will pull out of CIRA completely and pursue a new business model.
