Rauner to host ‘Illinois is Back’ expo during inauguration

SPRINGFIELD – It’s not just a concert that replaces the inaugural ball.

Illinois' employers, education institutions and associations will get to share the stage for the “Illinois is Back” exposition.

The event announced Tuesday will feature Illinois companies like Caterpillar, ADM, the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association, Zurich North America, Sysco Central Illinois and others. The expo will be throughout the days both Sunday and Monday January 11th and 12th at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield.
