Missing Bloomington man found dead

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police have found the body of 21-year-old Ryan Kindig, the Bloomington man who was reported missing earlier this week.

Kindig was reported missing on Sunday by his family after leaving his home on December 4. According to police, his family and friends had tried to find him, but could not.

On Thursday afternoon, police were notified that Kindig’s body had been found at his residence, outdoors, inside a small structure.

According to a press release from BPD, Kindig’s death is not suspicious in nature, although the investigation is ongoing. A forensic pathologist will make the final determination on Kindig’s death.
