Juvenile arrested on weapons charge

BLOOMINGTON – A 15-year-old has been arrested after a report of shots fired last week.

The male teenager was arrested on charges including aggravated battery, mob action and unlawful use of a weapon for an incident in the 500 block of W. Jackson St.

Bloomington Police said several suspects beat and shot at a victim around 7 p.m. Sept. 11. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.

Bloomington Police are still investigating this shooting and three others that happened last week on consecutive nights. Those shootings happened in the 800 block of W. Market St., the 900 block of W. Wood St. and the 1900 block of Tracy Dr.
