BLOOMINGTON – McLean County’s rolling positivity is on the decline as health officials report 20 new cases of COVID-19.
The hospitalization rate in the county is also down to 62% of ICU beds in use from 85% on Wednesday. In contrast, the county’s total beds in use increased from 86% to 89% on Wednesday.
However, 13 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19. In addition, 18 people are hospitalized in the county with the virus.
At last count, 211 people are isolated at home, while 22,408 people have been released from isolating and are considered recovered.
The county’s cumulative positivity rate remained steady at 4.2%, while the county’s rolling positivity rate declined to 1.8% from 2.0% on Wednesday.
There have been 269 COVID-related deaths in the county.
Authorities report 192,147 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the county, and 55.10% of the county population are fully vaccinated.
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), 56.42% of Illinois residents are fully vaccinated.
