BLOOMINGTON – Since the weekend, the McLean County Health Department is reporting 151 new cases of COVID-19.
MCHD Public Affairs Coordinator Marianne Manko reports 22 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to the virus, while 18 residents from outside the county are hospitalized in twin-city hospitals with COVID-19.
Officials report 454 people are isolating at home, while 19,233 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Officials also report more than 418,900 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 4.8%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 4.1%.
The health department reports, approximately 178,576 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in McLean County, and 51.63% of the county is fully vaccinated.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 242 COVID-related deaths in the county.
