NORMAL – It’s Homecoming week on the campus of Illinois State University, but most events are virtual this spring due to the ongoing pandemic.
The schedule for all homecoming events this week and links to register can be found on homecoming.illinoisstate.edu.

Rachel Kobus with alumni engagement says there will be a virtual homecoming parade.
“This will be short and sweet compared to our usual hour long parade,” Kobus told WJBC’s Scott Miller. “I know we can’t throw candy virtually, but we do have a live stream of parade entries that got submitted and some special greetings from across the community, across the country, and from campus.”
The virtual Homecoming parade will be streamed on the ISU Facebook page Saturday at 10 a.m.
Kobus says they are hoping for a more traditional Homecoming week in October when ISU celebrates its 100th anniversary of Homecoming.
