BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department reported 138 new cases of coronavirus from over the weekend.
There are 39 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID and 514 are in home isolation. The county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 4.9% after being above 5% several days last week.
125 additional people were released from isolation, now 15,077 have recovered.
There have been 208 COVID-related deaths in the county.
COVID-19 vaccines available to 16+ general population:
The MCHD will open registration for COVID-19 vaccine clinics to all eligible residents in the 16+ population this week. New clinics for next week will open for registration Thursday, April 08 at 11:00 am.

- For those will limited or no computer access, call the MCHD COVID Call Center at (309) 888-5600 Mon-Fri 9am-4pm.
- Please note that 16 and 17-year-olds can only get the Pfizer vaccine and minor residents must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or provide proof of emancipation, to receive a vaccine.
Approximately 77,966 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in McLean County.
