BLOOMINGTON – McLean County added 106 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, the most reported in a single-day since the end of January.
The McLean County Health Department says there are 470 active cases with 30 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID.
McLean County hospitals are reporting 88% of ICU beds and 94% of total beds in use. There are 29 patients hospitalized for COVID-19 in McLean County, up from 12 just last week.
The county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 5.4%, the highest it has been since Jan. 25.

The health department says 42 additional people were released from isolation, now 14,868 have recovered.
There have been 207 COVID-related deaths in the county.
