51 new coronavirus cases reported in McLean County

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department reported 51 new cases of coronavirus Friday.

MCHD also reported 30 additional COVID-related deaths after reviewing data reports from the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There are 27 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID and 325 are in home isolation. McLean County hospitals are reporting 69% of ICU beds and 88% of total beds in use.

The county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 4.9%. MCHD has reported 293 new cases of COVID over the last week.
