Police investigating shots fired on the city’s east side

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington police ask for the public’s help after an apartment building was struck by gunfire Wednesday evening.

BPD responded to a call of multiple shots fired in the 1300 block of North Hershey road.

Once deputies arrived on the scene, officers noticed an occupied apartment building was struck by gunfire; however, there were no injuries reported.

BPD reports no arrests have been made, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Paul Jones at [email protected] or at 309-434-2548.
